SUMMARY:LavenderFête 2025
DESCRIPTION:The weekend of July 12th and 13th 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. \nCome celebrate all things lavender and enjoy the experience of harvesting lavender for free.  Each family can cut a free small bundle to take home.  We hope to have enough for all visitors\, but to guarantee you get some\, we recommend choosing one of our earlier timeslots.c \n \nStop by Lavender Ridge where our 3\,200 young lavender plants are growing and blooming.  It’s just our second year of making them available for our visitors to harvest.  And while they aren’t fully mature\, many are blooming. \nWatch lavender machine demonstrations\, and shop for man things lavender in our farm store.  There will be delicious edible treats such as lavender syrup and shortbread.  There will also be lavender-inspired soaps\, candles\, and much more. \nTo savor the taste of lavender\, don’t miss our signature frappes (“milkshakes” if you’re not from New England).  Or treat yourself to a cup of Hayward’s ice cream.  If wine is more your style\, stop by for local wine sampling\, which will include an amazing lavender wine. You can visit with our adorable goats as they show off their new playground in the sky. \nEnjoy the views from our Overlook and stroll by our orchards\, berry bushes\, and our trellises draped with table grapes and kiwiberry vines.  And open to the public will be the Pond Loop Trail—a forested half-mile walk around our five-acre beaver pond.  A serene pond-side pine grove is a perfect spot for communing with nature. \n \nAlthough the event is free to attend\, parking will be $10.00 per carload.  Parking reservations are required and are in one hour time slots (except for the latest of the day which may only be a half hour).  You can arrive and park at any time during your reserved time slot.  Once parked\, you may stay as long as you like up until we close at 6:00 p.m.  While tickets are non-refundable\, you can exchange them for a different date and time.  Make your free parking reservations now: \n\n  \nImportant Information and Policies: \nParking tickets are by the carload.  Reservation is only valid for the date and time indicated on the reservation. You can park at any time during your one-hour time slot. Spend as much time at the farm as you like until our closing time at 6:00 p.m. \nWe are open rain or shine. We do reserve the right to close the farm should we feel it necessary. \nThere is a lot of walking at our farm and it can be very hot in July. Please plan accordingly and be sure to wear comfortable shoes.  For those with limited mobility\, please let us know when you arrive and we will do our best to arrange parking closer to the field. \nPet Policy: For reasons of food safety and the welfare of our other guests\, we welcome service animals covered by the ADA only – no exceptions. \nFor the most up-to-date information\, consult our website at www.wolfpinehollow.com or Facebook. \nSmoking is not permitted. \nPhotography is encouraged\, but drones are not allowed. \nConsent to Use Photos and Video: Use of your ticket to attend this event constitutes permission for the Farm at Wolf Pine Hollow to use your likeness (image\, video\, and voice) and that of any minors for which you are responsible\, in accordance with our Event Photography and Videography Policy.
