Spring 2026 at Wolf Pine Hollow

An important tulip update—and a quieter spring at the farm.

In years past, you’ve come for sweeping tulip fields—rows and rows in full bloom. Last season, after one beautiful opening weekend, the rain came hard and fast and we lost the rest of the crop. It was a tough one.

So this year, we made a choice to give our fields a bit of a rest. We had hoped the tulips we’ve naturalized over the years (hundreds of thousands planted) would still give us a smaller show… but it’s just not happening this season, and only a small portion is blooming this spring. Instead of forcing it, we’re leaning into something a little more relaxed, a little more personal.

There won’t be a formal Tulip Festival this year—no tickets, no entry fee, no big crowds. But there will still be tulips. Just in a quieter, more pick-your-own kind of way.

In about a week or two, we’ll be opening with a new, smaller patch of blooms near the farm stand, plus additional tulips in our raised beds—perfect for wandering, pulling a handful, and taking a bit of spring home with you. You’re also welcome to walk the fields, maybe discovering a special bloom that has come up on its own along the way.

The Stand will be open for gifts, wine, and our new faux collection—flowers and vessels we’ve been quietly building for the season.

Even in a quieter tulip year, we’re still planting, growing, and looking ahead. Peonies will be in bloom next month, followed by lavender this summer—along with gladiolus, snapdragons, sweet peas, delphinium, zinnias, and so much more. And of course… the goats will be here, as always.

This year isn’t about the big show. It’s about slowing down, wandering a bit, and enjoying the simple parts of the season.
