- We are open rain or shine. We do reserve the right to close the fields should weather or the tulips require it.
- This is a U-Pick Tulip event. The fields will be open most days 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. Tulips are $2.50 per stem.
- It is a decent walk to the tulips fields. Please plan accordingly and be sure to wear comfortable shoes. For those with limited mobility we will do our best to arrange drop-offs closer to the field, but there is no parking close by.
- We have a limited number of baskets to use when gathering your stems. We recommend bringing your own bucket or basket, especially if visiting on the weekend

Tips and Information
- Clothing:
Be sure to wear the proper footwear and rain gear. Farm walkways, paths and fields can be uneven, rocky, and if wet, muddy and slippery. Please use caution.
- Handicapped Accessibility:
There is extremely limited handicapped parking available, but we can accommodate drop off and pick up of handicapped passengers. While parts of the farm are wheelchair accessible, there are no paved surfaces outside and the terrain is hilly.
- Photography:
We encourage all hobby photographers to take pictures in the tulip fields and at our photo-worthy props such as our antique cars, vintage tractor, and other vignettes during our open hours. All photography (which includes videography, and painting) in the guest residential areas of the farm is prohibited. Please see our Photography Rules.
- Professional Photography
Professional photography outside our tulip fields, the fenced agricultural area, The Landing, or the Pond Loop Trail is prohibited. Professional photographers must abide by our Photography Rules. There is an additional site fee for professional photography or anything for monetary gain which is $75.00 for an hour session during times that the Farm is open to the public. Booking for your session will be available soon.
- How to Pick Tulips:
Grip the stem as close to the ground as possible and pull straight up until the stem snaps from the bulb, usually below the ground. This method will result in the longest stem. Twisting or pulling at an angle may cause the stem to break closer to the flower.
If the bulb comes out of the ground, you are free to cut it off at the wrapping station or take it home. However, while it is tempting to try, replanting the bulb will not likely produce a bloom next year.
